Knowing what’s needed
Only ochre and other iron oxide pigments from the surrounding area were available at the time the Lascaux cave paintings were created; and although today’s artists have an incomparably larger choice, they will nonetheless opt for whichever product best suits their intentions.

A symphony of colours
Pigment is to painting what tone and key are to music. And just as a melody emerges from an expanded motif, it takes the right support medium for the pigment to achieve its full potential. Indeed every creative process is shaped by an immeasurable, magically ethereal element. The “spirit of colours” captures the essence of that spirit and the mood of the colours themselves.

Qualitative growth
Rather than strive for growth at any price, the company has always advocated a corporate policy of continually perfecting and developing innovative and useful products. An important mainstay in reaching that objective is the company’s solid commitment to providing advice and guidance to local, national and international projects.
